Daks Over Normandy
Destination: Normandy. In June 2019, DC-3s and C-47s will unite from around the world to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day. From June 2 through June 5, aircraft and personnel will gather at Duxford Airfield in the United Kingdom. Then, on June 5, 250 men and women will fly across the English Channel and jump into historic drop zones in Normandy. Afterward, aircraft will gather at Caen Carpiquet Airport in Normandy, France.
In early May 2019, we plan to join other North American-based DC-3s and C-47s—making up the D-Day Squadron—crossing the North Atlantic to be a part of this celebration. Contact us to see how you can help, and visit daksovernormandy.com for more information!
